Online pH Sensor Introduction
In the process of biological culture, the monitoring of pH value is very important.
Only through precise pH data, we can understand the status of the cells or microorganism, optimize the culture conditions, and achieve optimal growth and product expression.
As a sensitive membrane designed by Sieman, AB-100 online pH sensor not only has stable measurement signal and no drift measurement characteristics, but also maintains accurate measurement under complex process conditions through unique ceramic diaphragm design, providing users with efficient and stable biological culture solutions.
Online pH Sensor Structure
The Sieman online pH sensor is a composite sensor using a pre-pressurized gel reference electrolyte, which provides accurate test results, good stability, low maintenance, and repeated resistance to high-temperature and high-pressure steam sterilization. The sensor is made of materials that meet GMP requirements, and no toxic and harmful substances are released during the testing process. The structure includes a silver ion trap, which can prevent the silver sulfide generated in the sensor from polluting the ceramic junction. With a single porous ceramic junction, it can effectively prevent pH sensor poisoning. Sieman offers online pH sensors with different connector types such as VP8, K8 and S8.

Online pH sensor storage
After each use, the sensor should be fully washed and stored in a saturated 3M KCl solution or a pH 4.00 buffer with a higher KCl concentration. Do not dry the storage sensor or store it in distilled or tap water. This causes the pH glass sensitive membrane to dehydrate, and before use, the sensor must be soaked in 3M KCl for several hours to allow the glass pH membarne to form a gel layer and replenish water. Gel reference electrolyte filling: Sieman online pH gel reference electrolyte composite sensor cannot be refilling.

Sieman PHIT-01 Intelligent Transmitter is a miniature pH transmitter independently developed by Sieman Company. The original analog signal of the pH sensor is collected to calculate pH and converted into a 4-20mA output, while also supporting temperature measurement to compensate pH, suitable for pH analog signal sensors with VP connectors including pt100. The transmitter also has the function of digital communication, through the RS-485 serial port using MODBUS RTU protocol, can perform pH calibration, pH data and state reading, parameter configuration and other functions. It can also be connected with the Sieman BW-01 wireless adapter to realize wireless mobile control of the pH sensor.
